Job summary

Marel is seeking a Welder to perform assembling, welding, finishing, and quality checks on complex fabrications. You will work in a team, read drawings, and use measuring tools to ensure products meet specifications.

The role requires intermediate vocational level 3 in related welding fields, TIG/MIG level 3 welding, and experience in food processing welding. Safety certifications and forklift operation are required.

Qualifications

• A vocational level 3 qualification in bench machining, sheet metalworking or welding is required.
• Welding at TIG and MIG level 3 is required.
• Experience with work preparation and finishing of products is required.
• Experience welding for the food processing industry is preferred.
• Operational knowledge of relevant software is required.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring compliance with supply lead times and standard times.
• Application of prescribed measurement methods, work instructions, and measuring tools.
• Carrying out quality control and ensuring process control meets requirements.
• Carrying out first-line maintenance of welding equipment and tools.
• Taking care of internal transport for production (forklift, crane).
• Supervising employees and trainees.
• Discussing improvements with Manufacturing Engineer/Manager.
