Job summary

Roompot De Veerse Kreek offers a kitchen internship where you work with the kitchen team to prepare dishes, support chefs, and keep the kitchen clean and organized. You will gain hands-on experience and gradually take on more responsibilities under supervision.

Ideal candidates are motivated to learn, enrolled in an mbo Hospitality or related program, and eager to develop in a professional kitchen with guidance from experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• No experience required; motivated to learn and collaborate.
• Enrolled in an mbo Hospitality or related program.
• Enthusiastic to learn kitchen work.
• Practical, hands-on, and hygiene-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking dishes.
• Support chefs and team during daily operations.
• Help with washing up and keeping crockery, glassware and cutlery clean.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly.
• Restock supplies and ensure materials are in the right place.
• Assist with cleaning up and waste disposal.
• Learn and follow hygiene and safety rules.
• Support the team during busy moments.
• Progressively take on more tasks independently.
