Mendix, a Siemens Company, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to help shape the future of Generative AI. You will help build tools, frameworks, and services enabling developers to create powerful GenAI solutions.

Your work spans tooling, evaluations, and building integrations with LLM providers, directly influencing the quality of our GenAI offerings and the impact on customers and fellow developers.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python or TypeScript.
• Operations experience, preferably with hands-on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, Context Engineering and MLOps.
• Passion for technology and strong problem-solving skills.
• Agile mindset with ability to deliver in iterative cycles.
• Ownership and collaboration in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools, frameworks and services for GenAI offerings.
• Build solutions for accessing LLM providers and evaluating GenAI capabilities.
