Job summary

Gigs is building the operating system for mobile services, enabling platforms to embed global connectivity and navigate telecom complexity. We value ownership, speed, and principled decision-making, with teams collaborating across hubs in Europe and the US.

On day one, you will tackle multi-tenant architectures, improve observability, and drive cross-functional initiatives while mentoring others and delivering tangible engineering outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale.
• Strong operational instincts: observability, failure modes, alerting, graceful degradation.
• Comfort navigating polyglot development environments.
• Experience with agentic AI development beyond simple code generation.
• Proven ability to drive technical outcomes across teams through credibility.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve cross-cutting architectures (event-driven systems, multi-carrier integrations, multi-tenant patterns) and establish governance as we scale.
• Raise the bar on operational excellence (SLOs, on-call, production ownership).
• Identify where AI changes the work and push those patterns forward.
• Mentor senior engineers and shape the senior IC growth path at Gigs.
• Ship production code and influence technical strategy with leadership.
