Job summary

Vink Recruitment & TAU Engineering is seeking an experienced engineering professional to lead rotating equipment activities for large-scale EPC projects. You will oversee equipment selection, specification, and interface management across disciplines.

Responsibilities include reviewing vendor documentation, FAT support, and ensuring compliance with API, ASME, ISO standards while coordinating with process, mechanical, electrical, and civil teams to deliver on schedule.

Job description

• Lead and manage the engineering, design, specification, selection, and procurement of rotating equipment, including compressors, pumps, turbines, blowers, and associated auxiliary systems for large-scale EPC projects.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, equipment datasheets, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations (TBE), and vendor documentation in accordance with project requirements and applicable international standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes and standards, including API, ASME, ISO, and client-specific engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with process, piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, and layout disciplines to ensure proper equipment integration and interface management.
• Conduct technical evaluations of vendor proposals, participate in technical clarification meetings, and provide recommendations for equipment selection and procurement.
• Review and approve vendor engineering deliverables, including GA drawings, performance curves, mechanical calculations, seal systems, lubrication systems, and equipment installation requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to rotating equipment engineers, ensuring engineering quality, timely deliverables, and compliance with project schedules and budgets.
• Support equipment inspections, factory acceptance tests (FAT), vendor coordination, construction activities, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, manage engineering deviations, conduct risk assessments, and ensure effective coordination with vendors, clients, and project management teams.
