Job summary

Kraft Heinz in the Netherlands seek­s a Specification Data Management Specialist to support specification maintenance, PLM system support, and specification excellence within a cross-functional environment.

You will coordinate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement and Supply Chain to drive approvals, implement updates, and ensure regulatory and commercial compliance while aligning with global standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, nutrition, chemistry, or related field.
• Proven experience in specification management, product development or quality systems in food/beverage or CPG industries.
• Proficient with specification databases, PLM systems, and ERP tools.
• Attention to detail.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
• Organizational/time management skill / ability to run multiple assignments concurrently.
• Track record of executing projects and driving results on cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support all spec data activities and ensure data meets PLM and downstream system requirements.
• Manage complex specification workflows end-to-end with accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement and Supply Chain to resolve issues and drive on-schedule approvals.
• Implement updates from internal or external change requests.
• Support proactive data reporting, analysis, and correction.
• Troubleshoot and provide system support for R&D; guide policy and resolve escalations.
• Collaborate with international counterparts on system governance and efficiency.
• Work according to R&D, compliance, nutrition, legal, and Food Safety/Quality requirements.

Job Description

As the Specification Data Management Specialist, you will support specification maintenance activities, PLM system support, and specification excellence. This role operates with autonomy in a dynamic, cross-functional, and integrated environment.

Key Ingredients

• Support all spec data activities and processes and ensure data meets the correct requirements for PLM and downstream systems


• Manage complex specification workflows end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, regulatory and commercial compliance


• Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and drive approvals on schedule


• Implement updates due to internal or external change requests


• Support proactive data reporting, analysis, and correction


• Troubleshooting and system support for R&D; guides on policy, assist with resolving escalations


• Collaborate with International counterparts on system governance, efficiencies, and consistency


• Work in accordance with R&D/compliance/nutritional/legal/Food Safety/Quality requirements

Work Environment & Schedule

• The function is based in Nijmegen or Amsterdam. The company has a minimum 3/5 days in the office requirement and as part of the role at least one day in Nijmegen.


• Working hours are including an early start to maximize the overlap with the China time zone
