Job summary

TMC is seeking a Specialist Underground & Infrastructure to develop open geothermal energy systems for geothermal storage. You will lead groundwater wells design and coordinate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes securing permits, performing on-site quality checks, and guiding contractors toward delivering functional, safe subsurface systems in collaboration with the design and implementation team.

Qualifications

• Degree in geotechnical or civil engineering and relevant groundwater expertise.
• Experience coordinating with external parties and stakeholders.
• Understanding of permits and regulatory processes for subsurface systems.

About this vacancy

As a Specialist Underground & Infrastructure, you are responsible for developing innovative open geothermal energy systems (ATES systems) for the temporary storage of heat and cold. You are the expert in the field of wells and the shallow subsurface and work closely with the design and implementation team to successfully deploy these systems. Your role includes the following tasks:

• Designing groundwater wells and underground infrastructure;
• Coordinating designs with external parties and stakeholders;
• Applying for the necessary permits for system implementation;
