Job summary

ALTEN is seeking a skilled technician to apply thermo-protection materials, cork insulation, adhesives, and coatings to aluminum rocket parts. The role requires careful following of aerospace procedures and strict process control to ensure a flawless finish.

You will read technical drawings, follow work instructions, maintain traceability, and perform repetitive, high-precision manual work. 3–5+ years in adhesives, coatings, or insulation is preferred, with aerospace experience a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in adhesives, composites, coatings, or insulation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise processes.
• Comfortable with repetitive, high-precision manual work.
• Familiar with technical drawings and work instructions.
• Aerospace, aviation, composites, or industrial painting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply thermo-protection layers, cork insulation, and adhesives to panels.
• Bond, glue, and coat following aerospace procedures.
• Perform vacuum-assisted molding and forming as needed.
• Inspect surfaces, spot defects, and ensure a flawless finish.
• Follow work instructions, technical drawings, and quality standards.
• Maintain documentation for traceability and compliance.
