Job summary

ALTEN Nederland is seeking a Technician for Thermo‑Protection & Adhesive Application (Aerospace Surface Treatment) to join its engineering team in the Netherlands. The role focuses on applying thermo‑protection materials and adhesives to aluminium rocket structures, requiring precision and strict adherence to industrial processes.

You will work with cork‑based insulation, adhesives, silicone, and protective coatings, following aerospace procedures.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in adhesives, composites, coatings, insulation, or similar manufacturing environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise, controlled processes.
• Comfortable performing repetitive, high-precision manual work.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and work instructions.
• Experience in aerospace, aviation, composites, or industrial painting is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Apply thermo‑protection layers, cork‑based insulation, and adhesives on structural panels.
• Perform bonding, gluing, and coating operations following strict aerospace procedures.
• Carry out vacuum‑assisted molding and forming activities when required.
• Inspect surfaces, identify defects, and ensure a flawless finish.
• Follow detailed work instructions, technical drawings, and quality standards.
• Maintain documentation for traceability and compliance.
