Job summary

Starion is seeking a Post Launch Engineer to join our team at ESA’s ESTEC site in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, supporting secure and innovative space technologies. You will coordinate end-to-end Post Launch Support, drive technical coordination of satellites, support FOS/PDGS Operations, monitor performance, and provide in-flight feedback to development teams.

This role requires an engineering degree and extensive satellite domain experience.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• University degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in satellite operations and spacecraft development.
• Experience coordinating across external interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end Post Launch Support across ESA teams and partners.
• Drive technical coordination on satellites, both flying and non-flying.
• Support operations teams and maintain PLS on-call lists.
• Lead satellite performance monitoring and anomaly investigations.
• Provide in-flight feedback to development teams on issues.
• Review industry reports and extract key metrics for analyses.
• Coordinate activities including SIOP meetings and CCBS.
• Monitor contractor activities across technical, schedule, and commercial aspects.
