Job summary

HE Space, Noordwijk, the Netherlands, is seeking a procurement and project support professional to strengthen ESA programme delivery. You will implement procurement actions, manage financial documentation, and monitor performance indicators in a dynamic, international setting.

The role requires a Bachelor degree with at least 5 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and fluent English. You will liaise with stakeholders and contribute to process optimisation across European space initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in project support, administration, procurement, finance or a similar role.
• Good organisational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in an international and multicultural environment.
• Solution-oriented mindset with strong customer-focused communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Supporting procurement and project control activities across ESA programmes.
• Implementing and managing procurement actions, contracts and financial documentation in ESA systems.
• Monitoring workflows, approvals and procurement performance indicators.
• Maintaining procurement, geo-return and planning data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Supporting contract management, milestone tracking and contract close-out activities.
• Producing reports, KPIs and financial analyses for programme management.
• Contributing to process optimisation and the implementation of new tools and procedures.
• Supporting manpower planning, budget monitoring and audit activities.
• Coordinating governance documentation and approval processes.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support successful programme delivery.
