Job summary

almavivadebelgique is seeking a Senior ICT Solution Architect to lead design and validation of integration architectures in cloud-native environments. You will analyze market options, guide implementation with ICT Engineering and Operations teams, and produce clear architecture documents.

The role requires 10+ years in ICT solution design, strong Kubernetes, REST APIs and messaging experience, plus familiarity with EU interoperability programs.

Qualifications

• More than 6 years of ICT solution design experience, focused on integration architectures.
• At least 3 years with cloud-native technologies (microservices, REST APIs, messaging).
• At least 3 years designing cloud-native infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Participation in a minimum of 3 system integration projects.
• Experience with EU Interoperability programs.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform market analysis and PoC work to validate designs and identify suitable technologies.

Job description

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS:

1. Perform market analysis and/or proof of concept work to validate intended designs and/or identify suitable technologies and products for the purpose of the delivery stream domain and scope;

2. Follow-up on implementation of approved designs with ICT Engineering and Operations teams, helping clarifying open points and steering the implementation to success wherever needed, providing design knowledge expertise.

3. More than 6 years of experience in ICT Solution design, specifically on integration architectures (and microservices architectures in the last couple of years)

4. A minimum of 3 years of experience with Cloud native technologies (microservices, rest APIs, message queues…)

5. A minimum of 3 years of experience in design and implementation of solutions based on cloud native infrastructure (ex. Kubernetes…)

6. Participation in a minimum of 3 projects integration of systems

7. Experience with and participation in the EU Interoperability program

SKILLS AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Good knowledge of interoperability technology (e.g. REST APIs, message oriented middleware, service oriented applications)

2. Good Knowledge of container and orchestration technology (Docker, Kubernetes) on premises and in the cloud Azure/AWS.

3. Good Knowledge of solution design best practices, create self-explainable documents and diagrams, be able to present architecture decisions and guidelines to varied audiences, self-driven and being able to work in a multi-cultural, self-managed team.

4. Good Knowledge of security and access management best practices when designing cloud native solutions

Desirable:
