Solution Architect Position Overview:

We are looking for a Solution Architect to design and develop innovative solutions that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software systems for industrial, automation, and robotics applications. This role requires expertise in mechatronics, embedded systems, control systems, and IoT, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect electro-mechanical systems, integrating hardware, firmware, and software components.
  • Develop system-level solutions for automation, robotics, smart devices, and industrial machinery.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers) to ensure seamless integration of components.
  • Select and integrate sensors, actuators, motors, PLCs, and embedded controllers for optimal performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices (ISO, IEC, UL, CE).
  • Evaluate and implement IoT and cloud-based solutions for predictive maintenance, remote monitoring, and automation.
  • Define and document system architecture, design specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness through advanced simulation and testing.
  • Lead proof-of-concept development and drive innovation in electro-mechanical automation, robotics, and smart systems.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in Industry 4.0, AI-driven automation, and digital twin technologies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years in electro-mechanical system design, automation, robotics, or industrial engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in electrical and mechanical system integration. Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, embedded systems, and real-time control. Experience with motors, actuators, servo systems, and power electronics. Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation software (MATLAB, Simulink, ANSYS, COMSOL). Proficiency in IoT, edge computing, and cloud integration (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, MQTT, OPC UA). Experience with embedded programming (C, C++, Python) and industrial communication protocols (PROFINET, Modbus, CAN, Ethernet/IP). Understanding of cybersecurity principles for connected industrial systems (IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and drive innovation. Hands-on approach with troubleshooting and system optimization.
