Job summary

Valid is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to shape our Modern Work portfolio and drive strategy from boardroom to engineering. You will design secure, scalable, user-friendly workplace solutions while steering cross-functional teams through pilots and new technology.

The role offers a hybrid work model (60% from home) with the chance to lead innovation sessions and influence client outcomes. Fluent Dutch and English are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in an architect role within Modern Work.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Intune, Defender, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID).
• Strong endpoint management experience (Intune, Autopilot).
• Knowledge of security and cloud governance (CAF, WAF).
• Excellent communication with stakeholders in Dutch and English.

• Connecting technology and organization: from boardroom to engineer, you talk to everyone at the right level.
• Lead innovation sessions and help colleagues grow, from new certifications to smarter work processes.
• Designing solutions that are not only secure and scalable, but also actually work nicely for the end user.
• Spot trends and new technology (Microsoft 365, Defender, Intune, Nerdio, Purview, Recast) and apply them before they become mainstream.

What we offer you

• A gross monthly salary between €5,000 and €7,000, depending on your knowledge and experience;

What you bring

You are an experienced and driven Solution Architect who uses technology to create real value for customers. You bring:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an architect role within the Modern Work domain, with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 (including Intune, Defender, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, among others
• Strong expertise in endpoint management, such as Intune and Autopilot, and extensive experience designing secure, scalable workplace environments.
• Knowledge of security and cloud governance, including CIS baselines as well as reference frameworks such as the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Well-Architected Framework (WAF) and Microsoft reference architectures.
• Good communication skills and stakeholder management: you effortlessly switch between IT teams, management and technical engineers in Dutch, and preferably also in English.
• A proactive and analytical attitude, with a passion for innovation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of processes and services.
