We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (2 to 5 years) with a builder mindset to take ownership of our technical infrastructure and contribute across our full technology stack. You will work closely with our existing team in a hands-on development role.

Location: On-site (Enschede) or hybrid

Employment: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Full-stack development
• Maintain and extend the ScoutinScience Dashboard (ASP.NET, PostgreSQL, React)
• Maintain and extend our Python-based ETL pipelines
• Prototype and develop new product MVPs
• Infrastructure ownership
• Take charge of on-premise servers and deployments
• System reliability
• Monitor production systems and optimise performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Two to five (2-5) years of experience with a proven track record of building projects from scratch
• Full-stack expertise in ASP.NET, Python, PostgreSQL, and React (or similar frameworks)
• Exposure to infrastructure maintenance, including deployment systems, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), server management, and Docker/containerization

Nice to have

• Experience in a startup environment
• Background in machine learning
• Strong communication and collaboration across departments and teams
