Job summary

EnOcean is seeking an AI-focused engineer to develop and integrate AI algorithms within our batteryless wireless sensor platform for smart buildings. You will work on AI models and analytics that turn sensor data into actionable insights, while creating automated AI workflows that reduce manual effort across the organization.

You will prototype rapidly, collaborate across CRM, ERP, HR, and quality systems, and help turn prototypes into scalable company infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Solid scripting in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience automating workflows and connecting tools through APIs.
• Working grasp of models, data, and agents — enough to reasonabouttrade-offs.
• Completed AI projects you can walk us through end to end — they matter more to us than degrees or years of experience.

Role & You

We develop wireless sensor technology for smart buildings, and AI runs through both our products and the company behind them. You will work on two fronts: the AI algorithms at the heart of our products, and the AI workflows that make everyday work across the whole organization smarter and faster.

This is a hands‑on builder role. We are not looking for a prompt operator, and not for a data scientist — we are looking for someone who understands the technology and builds with it. Students, recent graduates, and early‑career engineers are welcome.

This position can be based in either Munich, Germany, or Utrecht, the Netherlands.

The employment contract will be concluded with the local EnOcean entity at the selected location.
