Job summary

DexIQ, based in Breda, is hiring a Software Engineer AI Automation to develop AI agents and software across client projects. You will build prototypes, MVPs and production-ready solutions, connecting AI with APIs and databases while translating client processes into technical designs.

The role offers early client exposure, significant responsibility, and growth opportunities as you experiment with AI technologies and work directly with the founders.

# Software Engineer AI AutomationAI only becomes truly valuable when it works in practice.At DexIQ, we build AI solutions that help companies work smarter, faster and more efficiently. Think AI agents, smart automations and software that is used directly in day-to-day operations. We work with modern technology and choose the best approach for each challenge. This can be code, low-code tools such as n8n or a combination of both.As a Software Engineer AI Automation, you will work on real client solutions from day one. You will develop software, experiment with the latest AI technology and work with clients to discover where technology can make a difference.You will work across the entire delivery process, from an initial idea to a solution that actually runs in production. One day you might build an AI agent or integrate an LLM into an existing application. The next day you might sit down with a client to understand a process and determine how we can make it smarter.## What you'll do* Develop AI agents, automations and software solutions.* Build prototypes, MVPs and production-ready solutions.* Connect AI to existing systems, APIs and databases.* Analyse client processes and translate ideas into technical solutions.* Test and improve new AI technologies.* Implement solutions for clients.## What we're looking for* You are technically curious, learn quickly and get energy from developing new solutions.* You have completed a technical degree at HBO or university level, for example Software Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable field.* You have 0–3 years of work experience in software development.* You enjoy programming and solving complex problems.* You are interested in AI, LLMs and the latest developments in software.* You quickly learn new technology and enjoy experimenting.* You want to understand the problem you are solving, not just build the technology.* You enjoy working with clients and explaining technical solutions.* You like working in an environment with a high degree of freedom and responsibility.* Experience with technologies such as Python, TypeScript/Node.js, APIs, databases or LLM APIs is a plus, but not a hard requirement.## What we offer* DexIQ is a young and ambitious AI startup in Breda.
