Job summary

Van Lanschot Kempen in Amsterdam is offering a Software Developer Intern position within the Digital Innovation & Analytics (DIA) team. You will work alongside experienced developers, contribute to deliveries, and sharpen skills using modern technologies and agile methods.

The role supports a hybrid working style with a strong emphasis on learning and impact. We expect you to be a 3rd/4th year student in software development, possess hands-on coding skills, and have a good command of English.

Qualifications

• Be a third- or fourth-year Bachelor's or Master's student in software development.
• Analytical, result-oriented and hands-on mentality.
• You have development skills.
• You are passionate about innovative technology and tools.
• You are interested to learn everything about how payments work.
• You are people minded and eager to learn.
• You are available at least 32 per week for a minimum of 5 months.
• You have good mastery of English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Product Backlog Items (PBIs) with your coding skills.
• Perform code reviews.
• Take part in the Quality Assurance process.
• Participate in all Scrum activities of the team you are part of, such as the daily stand-up, planning, retrospective, refinement, and sprint reviews.

As a Software Developer Intern, you’ll be part of our Digital Innovation & Analytics (DIA) Scrum teams, building innovative solutions for our Private Banking colleagues and clients.

Work side by side with experienced software developers, contribute to our deliveries, and sharpen your skills with the latest technologies and agile methods. You'll have the freedom to share your ideas, tackle real challenges, and see the impact of your work - right from the start!

You’ll have the following tasks:

• Contribute to Product Backlog Items (PBIs) with your coding skills;
• Perform code reviews;
• Take part in the Quality Assurance process;
• Participate in all Scrum activities of the team you are part of, such as the daily stand-up, planning, retrospective, refinement, and sprint reviews.
