We are looking for a Software Developer – Training & Simulation to join Akkodis team in Hengelo, the Netherlands.

Key responsibilities

• Work as a medium/senior-level C++ engineer within the F126 FuWES Training & Simulation software team.
• Implement video overlays for Equipment Simulators to be delivered.
• Work in an Agile environment, contributing to release trains, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Utilize and integrate the specific tooling, frameworks, and environments used in the F126 FuWES program.

We are looking for a person who

• Holds a completed Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, IT Service Management, or another related field.
• Possesses proficiency in C++, with additional working knowledge of Java.
• Has solid experience working with Linux environments, particularly RHEL8.
• Is comfortable with key development tools and technologies such as:
• Jenkins
• Nexus
• Maven
• Bash scripting
• Qt
• CLion
• Git/GitLab/Bitbucket
• Jira/Confluence
• Has knowledge with MÄK software.
• Has an affinity for software architecture and is comfortable building visual elements.
• Has experience working in Scrum/Agile teams.
• Can autonomously collect information and take initiative.
• Enjoys working as part of a team.
• Is open to hybrid working, with up to 2 days per week from home.
• Communicates efficiently in English, both verbally and written.
