Job summary

ABF Bearings BV is seeking a Software Developer to join a close-knit team of about nine developers. You will build high-quality software powering our operations, transforming business needs into clean, scalable code with thorough documentation and tests.

You will work on meaningful roadmap projects, improve existing features, maintain cloud environments, manage upgrades, and continuously enhance the platform. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience as a Full Stack or Back-End Developer.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, C#, SQL, Blazor and .NET Core/.NET 10.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Microservices, Kubernetes, and preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• You are communicative, analytical and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom-built applications, contributing to bi-weekly release cycles.
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to elevate the team.
• Refactor and optimize existing code to improve performance and reduce technical debt.
• Translate user stories into development tasks and write comprehensive unit tests.
• Proactively propose improvements to architecture and system design, collaborating with IT Manager or Team Lead.

As a Software Developer at ABF you’ll be joining a close-knit development team of around nine developers and will work in a dedicated sub-team. You will play a key role in building high-quality software solutions that power our internal and external operations. Working closely with your team, you’ll transform business needs into clean, efficient, and scalable code - while ensuring everything is well-documented and thoroughly tested. You’re not just writing code; you’re building and maintaining the systems that power our daily operations, while helping the business scale and grow.

What You’ll Do

Salary € 4.500 – € 5.200 gross per month (full-time, depending on experience and education).

28 vacation days + 8.5% holiday allowance.

Travel allowance of €0.23 per km (up to €180/month) or full public transport reimbursement.

One week per year working abroad.

Daily catered lunch at the office.
