Job summary

Sioux in Enschede is seeking an experienced Software Designer (C#/C++/Java) to develop software for high-tech products and machines. You will support customers in the semiconductor, analytical instrumentation, and medical equipment industries, delivering smart, sustainable software solutions across Nijmegen, Enschede and Zwolle.

You will translate requirements into innovative concepts, bridge architects and engineers, own a module throughout the lifecycle, and coach a team of (senior) engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in technical software development.
• Experience in Semicon, Medical, or Analytical domains in the last 4–5 years.
• Experience with two or more of the following languages: C#, C++, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Apply creative skills during the concept phase of projects, translating requirements into innovative, clear and realistic concepts.
• Bridge between architects and engineers from a technical perspective.
• Take responsibility for a module/subsystem throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Guide and coach a team of (senior) engineers.
