Job summary

Tony's Chocolonely Inc. is seeking a Dutch-speaking Social Media Intern to join the Benelux and Beyond team in Amsterdam.

You will create content, edit short-form videos, and craft captions that reflect Tony's voice while engaging with the community. You’ll learn hands-on content production, community management, and cross-team collaboration, with a hybrid schedule in Amsterdam and a focus on NL social channels.

Qualifications

• You’re studying Communications, Marketing, Creative Business, or a related field.
• Dutch language skills are mandatory for this role, as you'll be writing copy for NL social channels and managing community conversations in Dutch.

We're looking for a Social Media Intern (Dutch speaking) to join our Benelux and Beyond team in Amsterdam. If you're excited about creating content, editing short-form video, writing captions that slap, and chatting with our community, this is your backstage pass.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

• Social content creation. Gain hands‑on experience developing creative, channel‑first content ideas and keeping the content calendar up to date. Learn to produce social‑ready posts and short‑form videos for different platforms while building practical skills in video editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut) and visual design (Photoshop, Canva). Develop an understanding of Tony's tone of voice by writing captions and basic scripts that bring our mission and brand personality to life across our NL social channels.

• Communication & community. Learn how to support day‑to‑day community management by responding to comments and questions on social media, helping maintain a positive, approachable, and mission‑driven brand presence. Build an understanding of how community interaction contributes to brand engagement and brand love and learn how to spot relevant conversations and content opportunities within our social communities.

• Collaboration & stakeholder support. Develop collaboration skills by supporting the marketing and social teams in day‑to‑day content production. Learn how different stakeholders contribute to social content by assisting with planning shoots, preparing props, coordinating basic logistics, and aligning content needs with internal teams and external partners.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Content Creation: Support the translation of Tony's brand and campaign activities into creative, channel‑first content for our own social platforms.

• Video & Visual Production: Help produce short social videos and visual assets that support our communication objectives in the Benelux and beyond.

• Shoot Support: Help prepare shoots, arrange props, coordinate basic logistics, and assist on set when needed.

• Copywriting: Write draft social copies and captions that reflect Tony's tone of voice and communicate our mission in a fun, accessible, and engaging way.

• Community Management: Respond to comments and help spot relevant conversations or engagement opportunities with choco fans.

• Cross‑Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams like Marketing, Creative, and Chocofancare to support smooth content production and consistent messaging across channels.

Job requirements:

• You’re studying Communications, Marketing, Creative Business, or a related field.

• Dutch language skills are mandatory for this role, as you'll be writing copy for NL social channels and managing community conversations in Dutch.

Here are the hard facts:

• Starting on 1 February 2027, you'll be part of our Tony's team for 6 months.

• We are all about being more in person than apart; this means we offer flexibility but see each other in our Amsterdam office on average 3 days a week. More is fine!

• You’ll be living in the Netherlands and enrolled in a school for the duration of the internship.
