Job summary

The Newbies Production is seeking a Dutch-speaking Social Media Content Creator intern for a six-month placement in the Ridderkerk/Rotterdam area. You’ll work on turning ideas into posts—photos, videos, Reels and Stories—for real clients.

Ideal candidates are marketing/communications students with a knack for trends, editing on CapCut/Canva/Adobe, and a collaborative, feedback-friendly team.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch, spoken and written (essential).
• Good English is a plus.
• Student at MBO/HBO or university in marketing/communication/media/creative studies.
• Creative thinker with willingness to think outside the box.
• Up-to-date with social media trends and formats.
• Portfolio or personal social account is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Generate fresh, original content ideas for clients.
• Create photos, videos, Reels and Stories from idea to post.
• Produce content for different brands with distinct styles.
• Spot trends and adapt them to each client’s voice.
• Help plan content calendars and social campaigns.
• Track performance and suggest improvements.

Who we are

The Newbies Production is a social media agency. We manage social media for other businesses, from strategy and ideas to creating and posting content. We're growing and looking for a creative intern to build with us.

What you'll do

• Come up with fresh, original content ideas for our clients
• Create photos, videos, Reels and Stories from idea to post
• Make content for different brands and industries, each with its own style
• Spot trends and turn them into content that fits each client
• Help plan content calendars and social marketing campaigns
• Track what works and suggest improvements

Who we're looking for

• Fluent in Dutch, spoken and written (a must, because our content is in Dutch)
• Good English is a plus
• A student in [marketing / communication / media / creative studies] at MBO, HBO or university level
• Full of new ideas and not afraid to think outside the box
• A feel for social marketing and up to date on social media trends
• Creative with a phone camera and editing apps such as CapCut, Canva or Adobe
• Easy to work with, open to feedback and happy to share ideas
• A bonus if you have a portfolio or your own social account to show us
