Zoku in Amsterdam seeks a Social Media Content Creator to bring our brand to life across Europe. You will travel regularly to capture diverse content and build a strong backlog for multiple markets, turning shoots into formats for Reels, Stories, and paid assets.

Ideal candidates have a solid portfolio in short-form video and photography, plus strong editing skills and English proficiency. This full-time role emphasizes autonomous travel and content strategy.

As our Social Media Content Creator, you’ll bring Zoku to life through photo, video and short-form storytelling across Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Vienna and Paris.

This is first and foremost a content creation role. You’ll travel regularly, plan smart content trips and build up enough strong material to keep multiple content calendars fresh between visits.

Being resourceful is key. You’ll capture variations, build a backlog of evergreen content and turn one strong shoot into multiple formats, from Reels and Stories to stills and paid-social assets. You’ll also stay closely connected to current social trends and know which formats, hooks and ideas are worth adapting for Zoku.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Create Content: Produce engaging photo and video across multiple Zoku accounts and markets.

• Plan Smart Content Trips: Prepare around campaigns, events, seasonal moments, missing assets and evergreen needs.

• Build a Content Backlog: Capture enough varied material to keep calendars filled between trips.

• Repurpose What Works: Turn strong shoots into multiple formats, variations and channel-ready assets.

• Shoot With Multiple Uses in Mind: Capture different angles, hooks and ratios so one moment can work harder.

• Travel & Capture: Regularly visit our four locations to create fresh local content.

• Film & Photograph: Create short-form video and still photography across food, spaces, people, events and community.

• Edit Your Work: Deliver polished, ready-to-use content with strong pacing, subtitles, music and formatting.

• Stay On Top of Trends: Follow new formats, editing styles, sounds and platform behavior, and identify what fits Zoku.

• Move Fast When It Matters: React quickly to relevant social trends without losing brand quality.

• Find the Stories: Spot residents, teams, partners and everyday moments worth sharing.

• Support Multiple Calendars: Create enough variety to keep different location accounts active without making them feel identical.

• Build the Content Library: Keep assets organized, tagged and easy to reuse.

• Train Local Colleagues: Help Community Managers and other colleagues capture stronger raw content when you’re not there.

• Learn From Performance: Use results to improve future content and creative decisions.

• Work Smart with AI: Use AI-supported tools for editing, subtitling, translation, versioning and organization.

• Bring a strong portfolio for Instagram, TikTok or similar platforms.

• Have strong editing skills and a good sense of hooks, pacing, music and storytelling.

• Understand how to repurpose content without making every channel feel repetitive.

• Are proactive, organized and comfortable managing travel, shoots and editing independently.

• Enjoy helping non-creatives become better at capturing content.

• Use AI tools as part of their creative workflow.

• Have experience in hospitality, travel, lifestyle, food or events. This is a plus.

A FEW MUST HAVES

• You can confidently shoot and edit social-first photo and video yourself.

• You have a relevant portfolio we can watch.

• You’re comfortable with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar.

• You’re willing to travel regularly between Zoku locations.

• You’re flexible to occasionally work evenings or weekends for content moments.

• You have strong written and verbal English.

• You have an EU passport or valid working and residence permit for The Netherlands.
