Job summary

Paylogic, part of EVENTIM, seeks a Site Reliability Engineer based in the Netherlands to own the reliability of a high‑scale ticketing platform. You will work with Linux infra, automation, and real incidents, close to the hardware, with a hybrid office/work-from-home setup in Groningen.

You’ll collaborate with software and product teams to improve performance, reliability and security, and you’ll help shape the future of our on‑premise infrastructure and tooling.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in SRE, infrastructure engineering, systems engineering or DevOps.
• Experience managing server and networking hardware, including network technologies such as LACP, BGP and GRE.
• Comfortable using headless Linux servers in production environments where reliability and performance matter.
• Interest in infrastructure automation, ideally using Python or another high‑level language.
• Interest in monitoring, incident response, performance tuning, capacity planning and scalability.
• Strong ownership and the motivation to improve systems, processes and tooling.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade on-premise server and networking hardware for high reliability.
• Monitor and improve platform performance, stability and security.
• Assist with incident response, root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Lead capacity planning and evaluate solutions to support growth.
• Automate repetitive tasks and tooling to reduce operational toil.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product teams on platform optimisations.
