Job summary

H&MV Engineering Netherlands is seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to oversee all construction activities on HV projects. You will ensure scope, schedule, cost and quality are met while leading on-site teams and coordinating with subcontractors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete project lifecycle from planning to handover.
• Develop and implement schedules, resource plans, and budgets with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate and oversee on-site activities including subcontractors, procurement, quality control and safety.
• Monitor and report project progress to the Project Manager and flag risks.
• Lead and manage site personnel with clear direction and guidance.
• Foster teamwork and growth on the site and maintain morale.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and health and safety standards.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Act as liaison between the project team and external stakeholders.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Site Manager at H&MV Engineering Netherlands. The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all construction activities on site, ensuring projects are completed within schedule, cost, and quality parameters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing complex engineering projects within the electrical sector.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete project lifecycle, from initial planning to final handover, ensuring adherence to project objectives and timelines.
• Develop and implement project schedules, resource plans, and budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate and oversee all site activities, including subcontractor management, procurement, quality control, and health and safety compliance.
• Monitor and report on project progress to the Project Manager, highlighting any potential risks or issues in a timely manner.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of site personnel, providing clear direction and guidance to achieve project goals.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and individual growth.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify training needs, and provide coaching and mentoring as required.
• Ensure all personnel adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant regulatory bodies.
• Act as the primary liaison between the project team and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and resolution of concerns.
• Address any client requests or issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining H&MV Engineering's reputation for excellence.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable quality standards, specifications, and codes throughout the project.
• Implement and enforce robust health and safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety and compliance on-site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and rectify any quality or safety issues.

• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, transmission, and distribution.

• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
