Hitachi Energy The Netherlands B.V. is seeking a Construction Site Manager to lead on-site construction and commissioning for HVDC converter station projects in the Netherlands and internationally.

You will coordinate daily operations, manage site teams and subcontractors, ensure safety and quality compliance, and drive timely, cost-effective project completion from mobilization to handover. Responsibilities include manpower planning, SoW/DoW alignment, change management, testing, and robust HSE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Site Manager in energy or industrial construction projects.
• Fluency in English and Dutch, written and spoken.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience in contract management.
• Hands-on experience in civil works, installation, and/or commissioning.
• Certified knowledge in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site across France, Europe, and abroad.

Job Description:

As a Construction Site Manager at Hitachi , you will lead all on-site construction and commissioning activities for HVDC converter station projects in Netherlands and internationally.
