Job summary

Linkit Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager for European data centre projects across the Netherlands, Austria and Finland. You will lead day-to-day site delivery, coordinate labour and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence on a technically demanding build.

Role requires at least three years in site management within ICT/telecoms or data centre construction, plus experience with ELV systems and RAMS.

Qualifications

• At least three years' experience in site management or project leadership within ICT, Telecoms or Data Centre construction.
• Experience managing fibre optic, enterprise ICT/telecoms infrastructure or similar ELV projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors and labour on live construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of site delivery, labour planning, lookaheads and quality management.
• A good understanding of RAMS, RFIs and technical submittals.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Flexibility and willingness to work on an international project.

• Maintain accurate site diaries, progress reports and project trackers.
• Support programme updates, procurement coordination and commissioning readiness.
• Liaise with the Project Manager and client delivery teams to resolve operational challenges.

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Site Manager with a background in ICT, telecommunications or data centre construction? Would you be interested in taking your experience overseas and working on major European data centre projects?

Our client is a specialist technology and infrastructure contractor delivering complex data centre construction projects and high-specification ICT and electronic security installations throughout Europe.

Due to continued project requirements, they are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to join their delivery team on a major project.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of site delivery within a technically demanding environment, working alongside experienced project teams and major construction clients.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination and delivery of site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, to the required quality standards and in line with the agreed programme.

You will act as the key site-level interface between the contractor and the client's delivery team, leading site coordination, managing resources and ensuring work fronts are ready for delivery.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• At least three years' experience in site management or project leadership within ICT, Telecoms or Data Centre construction.
• Experience managing fibre optic, enterprise ICT/telecoms infrastructure or similar ELV projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors and labour on live construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of site delivery, labour planning, lookaheads and quality management.
• A good understanding of construction processes, RAMS, RFIs and technical submittals.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Flexibility and willingness to work on an international project.
• Data Centre or mission-critical construction experience would be particularly advantageous.
