Job summary

Bleckmann is seeking a Site Manager in the Netherlands to lead day-to-day operations across the site, collaborating with the leadership team to optimize processes and budgets. You will drive performance, safety, and customer satisfaction while developing teams and implementing efficient logistics solutions.

You will report to the Cluster Director and work on a broad set of responsibilities from warehouse operations to budgeting, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a proven track record in logistics.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English.
• Pragmatic, hands-on mindset with the ability to develop creative, integrated logistics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective and efficient business operations across the entire physical operation, within the site's budgeted guidelines.
• Manage all operational processes in accordance with SLA agreements and contractual commitments.
• Drive operational performance based on productivity targets and KPI objectives.
• Monitor cost-versus-revenue flows and adjust where necessary.
• Ensure effective operational communication with customers through OBRs, MBRs, and QBRs.
• Take overall responsibility for the site's budget and performance, including the preparation and reporting of monthly financial results.
• Hold ultimate responsibility for QEHS, facilities, and site security.
• Coach and inspire teams to achieve their full potential on a daily basis.
• Provide strong account management and continuously strengthen customer relationships.
• Proactively drive continuous improvement of processes, methodologies, and operational approaches within the site.

As Site Manager, you are ultimately responsible for all activities within the site. Given the current growth of the location, you will support the current Site Manager in leading the operations. Together, you will manage the site leadership team and ensure that all disciplines (including warehouse operations, contract management, budgeting, automation, customs, and HR) collaborate as efficiently as possible to achieve the best results.

In this shared role, both of you will report to the Cluster Director and work closely together to further drive the growth and optimization of the site.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree level (or equivalent) with a proven track record in a similar role within a logistics environment; experience in fashion and/or outdoor logistics is a strong advantage.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
• Strong understanding of customers and markets, with a solid sense of business ethics.
• Pragmatic and hands-on mindset, combined with the ability to develop creative, integrated logistics solutions.
• Passionate about team development and focused on achieving results in both team and personal growth.
