Novartis in Baarle-Nassau, The Netherlands is seeking a Site Head to lead a highly regulated, continuously operating manufacturing site through ramp-up and transformation. You will assume overall accountability for production and guide a seasoned cross-functional leadership team to deliver reliable output for patients.

You will drive strategic and operational improvements, strengthen culture, accelerate change and build organizational resilience.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in a highly regulated manufacturing/production setting.
• 3+ years leading large-scale, continuous operations including 24/7 environments.
• At least 7 years of strong operational experience with strategic leadership ability.
• Experience driving organizational transformation and cultural change.
• Experience coaching leadership teams and establishing accountability.
• Proven decision-making under high pressure and escalations.
• English fluent; Dutch language valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide production and ensure safe, reliable performance across continuous operations.
• Guide the site through ramp-up and build capabilities for stable production.
• Lead and coach a cross-functional leadership team with clear accountability.
• Drive operational improvements across production, engineering, technology, quality and support functions.
• Lead organizational transformation and cultural change aligned with Novartis ways of working.
• Manage escalations while maintaining strategic focus and empower leaders.
• Strengthen resilience, collaboration and performance in a regulated environment.
• Build relationships with regulators, industry contacts and internal stakeholders.
