Job summary

Active Ants Roosendaal is seeking an Assistant Team Leader Logistics to support daily operations in its highly automated e-fulfilment centre. You will assist the Team Leader, coordinate tasks, and ensure smooth order processing in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires flexibility with day, evening and night shifts, collaboration with warehouse staff, and experience in logistics systems. You’ll gain exposure to AutoStore and packing automation while contributing to safe, efficient

• Relevant work experience in logistics or distribution environments.
• Experience with automatic order picking systems is an advantage.

Are you looking for a job as an Assistant Team Leader Logistics in Roosendaal? Do you have experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or production environment and want to work in e-fulfilment? Then this position at Active Ants could be a good fit

Location: Roosendaal Hours: 40 hours per week, including day and evening shifts (early or late shifts also possible in consultation) Salary: up to €3,054.07 gross per month (based on 40 hours, excluding 8% holiday pay)

In this role, you support the Team Leader in the daily logistics operations within a highly automated fulfilment centre.

• Support the Team Leader in daily warehouse operations
• Coordinate and assist in the execution of operational activities within your assigned area
• Monitor progress, priorities and quality on the work floor
• Identify and report issues, bottlenecks and improvement points
• Support and guide warehouse employees during daily operations
• Participate in operational tasks such as order picking, packing and processing
• Work with WMS systems (including Maya) and process operational data
• Contribute to a safe, structured and efficient working environment

Attractive terms of employment, including:

• A salary of up to €3,054.07 gross per month (excluding holiday pay) for full-time employment. In addition, you will receive an irregular hours allowance for working night shifts, on Saturday evenings and on Sundays;
• Travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometre with a maximum of 25 km one way;
• A pension scheme and 8% holiday pay.
• Working week: You will work according to a schedule from Monday to Friday, rotating between day shifts (7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), evening shifts (4:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.) and night shifts (11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.). In addition, we ask you to be available two Sundays (or Saturdays during extra busy periods) per month. In exchange for your flexibility, you will receive an irregular hours allowance and have another weekday off as compensation.
• A temporary contract of seven months, including a one-month probationary period, for 40 hours per week. With the prospect of permanent employment.

You will be working at the heart of our e-fulfilment process in the Pick & Pack department, where you will be responsible for Active Ants’ entire order process, together with your colleagues, assistant team leaders and team leaders/floor operators. In this environment, you will work daily on collecting, checking and packing orders, ensuring that every customer receives their parcel quickly and in perfect condition. It is a place where teamwork is central and every link in the chain counts.

For this vacancy in our e-commerce warehouse, we are looking for a candidate who meets the following profile:

Level: MBO working and thinking level. Experience: Relevant work experience in logistics; experience with automatic order picking systems is an advantage. Leadership: You have demonstrable leadership qualities and can motivate a team. Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts (day, evening, night) and at least 2 weekends per month. Language skills: Good command of Dutch or English (both is an advantage).
