Job summary

Cognizant is looking for a ServiceNow Engagement Delivery Lead in Amsterdam to drive successful project outcomes. You will build strong client relationships, assess needs, and shape cohesive projects that improve operational efficiency and processes.

You will lead client meetings, manage delivery governance, and ensure visibility into progress and risks, collaborating with the Services team and stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience in Project Management, ideally for large ITSM/ServiceNow implementations.
• PM experience with application development projects.
• Experience leading project teams and clients, including managing project schedules and risk management.
• Experience in the calculation and management of KPIs.
• Experience with Agile Methodologies is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build strong client relationships by setting expectations and providing updates.
• Lead main customer meetings and coordinate stakeholders to complete agenda.
• Ensure delivery methodology and tools are understood for project visibility.
• Prepare executive summary reports detailing milestones, risks, actions, decisions, issues, and change orders.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer with the Customer Project Manager and implement activities.
• Keep stakeholders informed according to responsibility levels.
• Facilitate the sales-to-delivery process with Services team alignment.
• Translate SOW into actionable deliverables, milestones, and plans.
• Work with Services to manage schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead pre- and post-Go-Live activities and motivate the team for Go-Live.
