Job summary

bk Group is seeking Service Technicians to join our team in the Netherlands, based in Amsterdam. You will regularly visit clients’ retail stores to carry out repair and maintenance work and ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements include a completed trade apprenticeship, willingness to travel, and good English communication. The role offers a permanent contract, an international working environment, and a structured induction program.

Qualifications

• Completed trade apprenticeship.
• Positive attitude and enjoyment of day-to-day practical work.
• Friendly, helpful manner.
• Strong practical skills across multiple areas.
• Willingness to travel; occasional overnight stays.
• Ability to work independently.
• Category B driving licence.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & repairs — Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
• Fault diagnosis — Independently identifying and resolving issues, including lighting, sanitary facilities and furniture/fittings.
• Routine servicing — Carrying out regular checks to ensure store functionality.
• Minor painting — Completing small painting and touch-up work in sales areas or changing rooms.
• Customer support — Acting as the on-site contact person for our clients.
• Digital documentation — Recording all work performed using our digital systems.
