Job summary

Vanderlande Industries GmbH seeks a Service Technician to support DHL in Zaltbommel, performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth logistics operations. You will handle mechanical, electromechanical and control issues, manage CMMS DOS Maximo, and liaise between the site and Vanderlande staff.

The role is senior, with a salary range of €4.000 up to €4.800 per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance) plus travel and extensive benefits in an international environment.

Qualifications

• MBO 4 level in relevant technical field (Electrical/Automotive/Controls/Mechatronics).
• Experience with mechanical and/or electrical maintenance work.
• Ability to locate and resolve system errors.
• Good command of Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and periodic maintenance on DHL installations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electromechanical and control malfunctions.
• Keep track of CMMS DOS Maximo and coordinate with site staff.
• Act as liaison between site and Vanderlande office staff.

Your role

As Service Technician you play a key role in keeping our customer DHL happy whereby it’s of utmost importance that the logistics process of DHL can continue to run.

This means that together with your colleagues you’ll ensure that the various installations are in good condition. You do this by carrying out preventive and periodic maintenance. In addition, you are also responsible to solve any ad-hoc malfunctions to the Vanderlande system.

You are also involved in:

• Ensuring our various installations are in good condition
• Solving mechanical, electromechanical and any control malfunctions
• Keeping track of CMMS DOS Maximo
• Act as the link between site and Vanderlande office staff

Your position is at DHL in Zaltbommel where you will work in shifts.

Your profile

• Educational level MBO 4 (Electrical Engineering, Automotive, Controls or Mechatronics)
• Experience with mechanical and/or electrical maintenance work
• Experience in finding and solving system errors
• Good command of the Dutch and English language
• Affinity with controls
• An enthusiastic, accurate and independent way of working
• You have an enthusiastic and proactive attitude and you are flexible
• You are willing to follow courses and training
