Job summary

AgXeed in the Netherlands is seeking a Service Engineer to support our autonomous tractors for customers and dealers worldwide. You will troubleshoot technical issues remotely via our helpdesk and perform on-site maintenance and repairs at customer and dealer locations, including commissioning and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Knowledge of mechanics, electronics, hydraulics and robotics.
• Digital skills and comfort with technical software.
• Experience diagnosing and solving technical issues; maintenance/repair of agricultural machinery advantageous.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication; German a plus.
• Willing to travel internationally ~50% and hold a valid category B driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site service for AgXeed autonomous tractors.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues via helpdesk; perform maintenance/ repairs.
• Support commissioning and upgrades; document findings and technical information.
• Collaborate with product/engineering teams to relay customer needs and market feedback.

What will you do as a Service Engineer at AgXeed?

As a Service Engineer, you are responsible for supporting our customers and dealers, with the goal of achieving 100% customer satisfaction.
You troubleshoot and resolve technical issues remotely through our helpdesk and carry out maintenance and repairs on our autonomous tractors at customer and dealer locations. You provide support during commissioning and upgrades and ensure that findings and technical information are properly documented.
You will also work closely with our technical teams and contribute to the development of new products and services by providing feedback on technology, customer needs, and market developments.

What do we expect from you?

• You are eager to learn and have a Bachelor’s level of working and thinking, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field.
• You have knowledge of mechanics, electronics, hydraulics and/or robotics.
• You are digitally skilled and comfortable working with computers and technical software.
• You have experience analysing and solving technical issues, for example using diagnostic applications. Experience with the maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery is an advantage.
• You communicate well in Dutch and English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
• You are customer-focused, hands‑on, and proactive in finding solutions.
• You enjoy regularly working on‑site with customers and dealers and are willing to travel internationally approximately 50% of the time.
• You are flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
• You have a valid category B driving licence.
