Job summary

Bakker & Co is seeking a hands-on Service+ engineer to own the complete service cycle from preparation through execution, and from customer contact to completion. You will work across the Benelux and Germany, tackling mechanical, electrical, and control engineering challenges while ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate with colleagues daily, check drawings on site, and proactively feed back opportunities for sales improvements.

Qualifications

Technical MBO+ background. Built through education or years of practical experience.
Demonstrable knowledge of mechanics; affinity with electrical systems, high pressure, and control engineering
Strong communication skills: clear with colleagues and customers
Solution- and quality-oriented, critical, eager to learn, and team-oriented
Team player who is open to other opinions and does not force their own will.
Technical input and forward thinking for the customer (not a sales role, but commercial awareness)
At least 18 years old and in possession of a B driving license
Good command of Dutch and English
German in spoken and written form (nice to have)

Responsibilities

Perform on-site service, preventive maintenance, breakdowns, inspections and installations across the Benelux and Germany.
Coordinate with colleagues and customers; plan equipment and communicate travel status.
Verify that the assignment matches drawings and specifications on site.
Think ahead to ensure the machine works properly and identify longer-term issues.
Feed back sales opportunities to the sales engineer when appropriate.
