Hitachi Energy The Netherlands B.V. is seeking a Service Commissioning Engineer to install, test, and maintain high-voltage transformers and substation equipment. You will work directly with customers across the Netherlands from Rotterdam, delivering safe, reliable energy solutions.

Role requires 2+ years in HV service/commissioning, strong fault-diagnosis skills, and fluency in Dutch and English. Willingness to travel is essential, with opportunities for growth into senior technical roles.

Qualifications

• Formal MBO-4 or HBO in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in service, commissioning, maintenance or testing in a high-voltage environment.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with electrical fault diagnosis, test equipment and relevant software.
• Fluent Dutch and English; capable of safe communication in both languages.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the Netherlands and occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, installation, testing and maintenance of high-voltage transformers and electrical systems.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, upgrades and fault analyses on transformer and substation equipment.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and fault-finding in electrical and control systems, including protection relays and MV installations.
• Provide customers with technical advice and support with a focus on quality and service.
• Collaborate with engineering and service teams to improve reliability and performance.
• Prepare service and commissioning reports according to company standards.
• Ensure all work complies with Hitachi Energy safety standards and applicable laws.
• Build and maintain durable customer relationships through professionalism and technical expertise.

In deze zelfstandige, veldgerichte functie draag je direct bij aan een veilige en betrouwbare energievoorziening.

• In bedrijf stellen, installeren, testen en onderhouden van hoogspannings-transformatoren en elektrische systemen.
• Uitvoeren van onderhoud, reparaties, upgrades en storingsanalyses aan transformator- en onderstationapparatuur.
• Diagnostische testen uitvoeren en storingen oplossen in elektrische en besturingssystemen, waaronder beveiligingsrelais en middenspanningsinstallaties.
• Klanten voorzien van technisch advies en ondersteuning, met een sterke focus op kwaliteit en service.
• Samenwerken met engineering- en serviceteams om productbetrouwbaarheid en prestaties verder te verbeteren.
• Opstellen van service- en commissioningrapportages volgens de geldende bedrijfsnormen.
• Waarborgen dat alle werkzaamheden voldoen aan de veiligheidsstandaarden van Hitachi Energy en de geldende wet- en regelgeving.

Jouw Achtergrond

Een MBO-4 of HBO opleiding in Elektrotechniek, Energietechnologie, Industriële Automatisering of vergelijkbaar. Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring binnen service, commissioning, onderhoud of testen in een hoogspanningsomgeving. Sterke analytische vaardigheden en ervaring met elektrische storingsdiagnose, meetapparatuur en relevante software. Je werkt zelfstandig, denkt in oplossingen en bent klantgericht. Je beheerst zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal uitstekend; veilige communicatie in beide talen is essentieel. Je bent bereid om veel te reizen binnen Nederland en incidenteel internationaal. Jij Bent Veiligheidsbewust en gedreven om kwalitatief werk af te leveren. Nauwkeurig, georganiseerd en proactief. Zelfstandig en besluitvaardig in het veld. Communicatief sterk en comfortabel als technisch aanspreekpunt voor klanten. Nieuwsgierig, praktisch ingesteld en gemotiveerd om technische uitdagingen op te lossen.
