Job summary

Speechify, Utrecht-based, seeks a Senior Software Engineer for Windows/Desktop Apps to design and build native Windows applications using Windows App SDK and C#/XAML. You will drive architecture, performance, and accessibility while collaborating with product, UX, and QA to deliver a polished, scalable desktop product.

You will also mentor engineers, shape long-term technical direction, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives in a distributed team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Windows desktop app development with Windows App SDK/WinUI.
• Strong C#/XAML skills, with optional C++ native modules.
• Experience designing reliable, scalable desktop software.
• Proven ability to lead architectural decisions and mentor others.
• Solid understanding of accessibility and inclusive UI on Windows.

Responsibilities
