Job summary

Jos Milo is seeking a capable Web Application Developer to join their IT team in Rotterdam. You will translate business needs into robust web solutions, prioritize work, and collaborate with delivery teams to build and maintain websites and applications.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in CS, 4+ years in web development, strong knowledge of VB.NET, ASP.NET, web services, SSRS/SSIS, and relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server. Unix scripting and C# are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• Excellent customer focus, communication skills, and results orientation.
• >4 years of experience as a web application developer in IT.
• Strong knowledge of VB.NET, ASP.NET, web services, SSRS and SSIS.
• Good understanding of Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Technical skills in web development, HTML, JavaScript with some business analysis / PM skills.
• Preferred: Unix scripting and C#.

Responsibilities

• Participates as key contributor to Web application support and prioritization.
• Provides general web support and manages publication, development, and maintenance.
• Manages information asset reviews ensuring policies and guidelines are met.
• Coordinates development and support of web apps and interfaces; explores standardization opportunities.
