Job summary

Sia in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Vulnerability & Patch Management Consultant to own the end-to-end lifecycle from discovery to remediation in cloud environments (primary GCP, then AWS). You will lead platform operations, risk-based prioritization, and remediation tracking across a high-uptime trading environment.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on vulnerability and patch management.
• Hands-on expertise with Tenable One (or Tennable.io / Nessus) and willingness to transition.
• Strong understanding of Windows/Linux, networking, and common attack vectors.
• English & Dutch communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize the vulnerability and patch platform for scanning and exposure management.
• Lead risk-based prioritization using Tenable One analytics.
• Design and oversee patch management processes for high-uptime environments.
• Track remediation SLAs and report risk exposure to owners.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud teams to embed security.
• Stay aware of threats, CVEs, and translate to remediation plans.
• Support audits and contribute to security policy improvements.
