Job summary

Jobtailor in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced UX designer to own the digital expression of our Action brand. You will translate our brand book into concrete, usable digital guidelines, typography on screen, colour in interfaces, imagery, iconography, motion, and tone-of-voice in microcopy, maintaining a living, version-controlled document.

You will simplify the UI kit into a modular system with brand tokens and flexible components, work with UX designers to maintain the design system,

Qualifications

• The role requires a background in UX design or digital product design with strong visual/typographic sense.
• Experience building or maintaining a design system focused on brand expression or theming.
• Ability to translate brand books into workable digital guidelines and components.
• Able to collaborate effectively with brand strategists, UX Designers and developers.
• Experience aligning customer journeys, messaging and design across propositions.

Responsibilities

• You own the digital expression of the Action brand.
• You convert the brand book into concrete digital guidelines, typography on screen, color in interfaces, imagery, iconography, motion, and tone-of-voice in microcopy, keeping them version-controlled.
• You simplify the current brand UI kit into a modular system with brand tokens and flexible components.
• You co-maintain the design system with UX Designers, owning the brand expression layer.
• You shape brand presence across Ecommerce, Loyalty, Promo and Employer Branding journeys.
• You ensure journey, messaging and design move as one, cohesive with brand and UX.
• You advise other designers on applying brand principles and review brand-driven expressions like landing pages and app onboarding.
• You are the design counterpart to the brand team and coordinate with external agencies.
• You work cross-stream, enabling other designers and contributing to a wider design guild.
