Job summary

Senior Product Developer at Suitsupply in Amsterdam leads end-to-end development of trousers, from design brief to final samples, ensuring top quality, fit and performance across formal and casual categories.

You will work closely with Design, Production and suppliers, run fittings, refine patterns, manage the PLM data each season, and drive timely delivery while staying aligned with brand standards and commercial goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product development, fashion/menswear.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication, materials, and garment construction.
• Experience with menswear trouser departments including chino, denim, and formal trousers.
• Proven ability to develop technical packs and oversee samples with local and international suppliers.
• Proficiency with PLM systems; Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop a plus.
• Willingness to travel for sourcing and production follow-up.
• Highly organized and proactive in fast-paced retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end product development across one or more trouser categories.
• Demonstrate strong product development experience within trousers (chino, denim, formal).
• Lead fitting sessions and wear tests to ensure fit and performance align with brand standards.
• Collaborate with Production to ensure golden samples meet technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate product information in the PLM system each season.
