Working closely with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Sourcing, Quality and suppliers, the team manages seasonal material toolboxes, develops new materials, maintains core toolboxes and drives continuous improvement across the global supply chain.

About the job

The Senior Trim & Packaging Developer owns the end-to-end development of assigned trim and packaging materials, from design concept through final approval. Working with minimal guidance, the role translates creative direction into technically feasible, scalable, compliant and commercially viable solutions within the nominated supplier matrix. The role applies in-depth technical expertise and sound business judgment to manage complex developments, evolving requirements and multiple priorities. Through strong cross-functional partnership, the Senior Developer aligns scope, ownership, timing and expectations, ensures requests are managed through the appropriate development processes and contributes to continuous improvement across the development scope. The Senior Developer works flexibly across Business Units, product categories and material areas in response to evolving team and business priorities, and acts as a subject‑matter resource for colleagues and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities (including, but not limited to)

Own the end-to-end development and implementation of seasonal and core trim and packaging materials for assigned Business Units, product categories or material areas, from concept through final approval. Work flexibly across the development portfolio as team and business priorities evolve. Partner with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Sourcing, Quality, suppliers and other stakeholders to deliver successful seasonal developments, aligning scope, ownership, timing, expectations and required decisions. Assess and shape incoming development requests by clarifying the underlying business need and constructively challenging or reframing requests where needed to align with the team’s remit, agreed processes and business priorities. Prioritize and manage the assigned workload, timelines, dependencies and risks, adapting plans as requirements change and making capacity constraints and necessary trade‑offs visible to relevant stakeholders. Navigate differing perspectives and priorities, influence decisions and manage expectations across functions and organizational levels without direct authority. Resolve complex technical, commercial and operational development challenges by applying in-depth expertise, relevant data and sound business judgment. Apply and uphold agreed development processes, approval requirements, standards and the nominated supplier matrix, ensuring materials meet PVH requirements for quality, compliance, sustainability, corporate responsibility and traceability. Escalate exceptions through the appropriate channels when required. Maintain complete, accurate and timely material specifications, approvals and digital records within PLM and relevant digital material libraries. Identify and implement opportunities to simplify material assortments, improve development processes and contribute to the evolution of tools, standards and best practices across the Trim & Packaging development discipline. Act as a subject‑matter resource for assigned material categories, providing technical guidance to colleagues and stakeholders, mentoring less experienced team members and sharing relevant industry, material and technology developments across the team.
