Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in the Netherlands offers a Senior Teamcenter Application Developer role to design, develop, and maintain Teamcenter PLM solutions for clients in energy, defense, and semiconductor sectors.

You will implement Java, C++, and Mendix based integrations, configure workflows, and build interfaces between Teamcenter and ERP/CAD systems, while driving system stability and performance improvements.

Your role

As a Senior Teamcenter Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Teamcenter PLM solutions for our clients. We have customers in e.g . the energy, defense and semi conductor industry.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Developing and configuring Teamcenter applications using Java, C++, Mendix and ensuring optimal performance and functionality.


• Conducting root cause analysis for system issues and implementing preventive measures to enhance system stability.


• Configuring and optimizing workflows to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.


• Developing and maintaining interfaces between Teamcenter and other business systems (CAD, email, logistics, ERP, etc.).

Your profile

• Solid experience in Teamcenter application development including Active Workspace configuration.


• Proven experience in PLM system configuration, customization, and integration with enterprise applications in IT/OT.


• Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions for complex technical issues.


• Expertise in Java, C++, Mendix is a plus.


• Strong understanding of workflow configuration and optimization in Teamcenter environments.


• Experience with server-side programming and API development for PLM systems.
