Job summary

Share seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to own the foundation of our infrastructure—production Linux, virtualization, and security perimeter. You will scale and harden systems, manage VMware/KVM/Hyper-V stacks, and collaborate with network teams on routing and load balancing in a cloud-first environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in professional systems engineering (telco/ISP background a plus).
• Deep production Linux administration at scale.
• Strong virtualization experience with VMware, KVM or Hyper-V.
• Security ownership: perimeter security, firewalls, segmentation.
• Solid networking fundamentals: routing, switching, DNS, load balancing.
• Working knowledge of at least one hyperscaler (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Kubernetes exposure and CI/CD integration.
• AI-native tooling integrated into workflows.
• Demonstrated ownership: scope, build, production readiness and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own production Linux infrastructure as the foundation of the stack.
• Harden and operate virtualization layers across multiple platforms.
• Maintain secure perimeter and network segmentation with firewalls.
• Collaborate with network team on routing, DNS and load balancing.
• Operate in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) as needed.
• Apply AI-native tools to improve workflows and efficiency.
• Take ownership of problems from scoping to production delivery.
