Job summary

Brevco Services in the Netherlands seeks a capable systems engineer with domain knowledge and a user‑oriented approach to support national security projects. The role emphasizes system-of-systems engineering, requirements traceability, and integration planning, with familiarity of NATO constructs.

You will develop domain architectures, specify cloud-based and on‑premises components, and apply design principles while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a technical IT subject with substantial IT content
• 3 years post-related experience; 5 years may substitute in exceptional cases

Responsibilities

• Contribute to domain architectures in specific business, infrastructure or functional areas
• Contribute to specifications of cloud-based or on-premises components for detailed designs
• Support projects through preparation of technical plans and application of design principles
• Align solutions with enterprise standards (including security)
• Assist in scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation for small-scale changes and assist with more complex change initiatives
• Follow agreed standards and apply techniques to elicit and document detailed requirements
• Review requirements for errors and omissions
• Prioritise requirements and document traceability to source
• Provide input to the requirements baseline
• Investigate, manage and apply authorised changes to baselined requirements
• Ensure stakeholders are aware of required resources and that they are available
• Facilitate availability and optimal utilisation of resources
• Monitor and report on progress of development projects
