Settels Savenije Group of Companies is seeking a Senior Strategic Buyer to shape supplier ecosystems for next-generation semiconductor tools in an international, technology-driven environment.

You will translate engineering and business goals into smart sourcing strategies, negotiate long-term contracts, and collaborate with Engineering and Project teams on early supplier involvement and cost-down opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in strategic procurement, sourcing, commodity management, or senior buying in high-tech manufacturing.
• Experience with semicon, precision systems, mechatronics, or complex technology.
• Hands-on strategic mindset with strong negotiation skills and value creation beyond price.

Responsibilities

• Turn technology and business goals into smart sourcing strategies.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships for innovation, quality, capacity, and speed.
• Lead high-value negotiations, framework agreements, and long-term supplier contracts.
• Work with Engineering and Project Teams on early supplier involvement, industrialization, make-or-buy choices, and cost-down opportunities.
