Job summary

Renesas is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead large, multi-disciplinary automotive IC design projects. You will own the program plan, drive milestones, manage budget and KPIs, and coordinate cross-functional teams across locations to deliver on requirements.

The role requires strong communication, ability to manage parallel programs, and proven experience with external partners. English proficiency is essential and PMI/Prince2 knowledge is a plus.

• Knowledge of IC design and automotive requirements is preferred.

• Organize and hold regular program status meetings and generate reports across involved departments.

• Operations (Quality, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Planning, …)

Qualifications

• Electrical or Electronic Engineering Degree or similar desired
• PMI or Prince 2 (nice to have)
• Industry experience in the application of project management techniques
• 7 years+ experience of managing large, multi-disciplined global delivery teams
• 7 years+ experience of successfully program managing complex IC design projects for Automotive products.
• Should include evidence of program managing multiple projects in parallel
• Proof of working with satellite teams in different locations/countries
• Proof of being able to work with 3rd parties and/or external contract resource companies

Significant experience in semiconductor/engineering environment

• Experience/awareness of the of IC design process including physical design
• Experience/awareness of the of requirements for Automotive IC products
• Experience/awareness of the of SW design process, especially embedded SW design
• Experience of working with IC fabrication, assembly and test organizations
• Technical acumen with ability to manage technical issues within a return on investment or risk management
• framework
• Strong commercial awareness with previous experience of P&L responsibility
• Language skills – English is essential, Dutch and/or German desirable
• Proven success in achieving design-in to Tier 1 customers in Wireless Connectivity
• Previous experience in key account management or sales roles
