Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Sr. Staff Network Engineer in the Netherlands to own deployment, monitoring, and operation of global production infrastructure across data centers. Role involves on-call rotations and collaboration with a global team to ensure reliability and scalability.

The candidate brings a background in large-scale enterprise or telecom networks, strong English communication, and a growth mindset. This is a high-impact position within our Cloud Ops - Network Engineering team.

Qualifications

Demonstrate a proven ability to leverage AI technologies and workflows to drive measurable operational efficiency.
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with high-speed networks (10G to 100G+), expert-level BGP routing and troubleshooting for IPv4/IPv6.
In-depth understanding of core networking concepts, TCP/IP stack performance, and experience with Wireshark or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Plan, implement, document, and manage data center cabinet layouts and power density for efficiency and reliability.
Oversee server capacity deployments, integrating infrastructure with automation for global scalability.
Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to align on service requirements and hardware integration.
Work with cross-functional teams to synchronize hardware, software, and network resources.
Provide expert guidance and troubleshooting for data center infrastructure, including on-call rotations.
