Job summary

Mozilla is seeking an experienced Staff Site Reliability Engineer to work on the tools and systems that support Firefox engineering. This remote Netherlands role spans internal engineering systems, developer tooling, workflow automation, and the infrastructure to operate them.

You will deploy and operate production systems, influence standards, and build automation to improve reliability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

Strong software engineering skills and production systems experience.
Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript; C++ or Rust is a plus.
Experience deploying and operating production systems in cloud and IaC.
Familiar with CI/CD, containers, orchestration, networking, observability.
Ability to use data/telemetry to guide decisions and work across teams.

Responsibilities

Design, build, deploy, and operate software and systems for Firefox engineering.
Contribute to developer tooling, CI/CD, workflow automation, and AI-assisted tools.
Own complex problems end-to-end across software, cloud, and operations.
Collaborate with teams to solve cross-cutting technical and organizational issues.
Use telemetry and metrics to investigate problems and guide engineering decisions.
Contribute to architecture and strategy by identifying repeatable solutions.
